First Luminous Mystery
Christ’s Baptism in the Jordan River
(Matthew 3:13-17, Mark 1:9-11, Luke 3:21-22)
The pure white gentle beauty of a dove could only of been chosen by God to bring the Holy Spirit upon Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
If only we could see the Holy Spirit at each Holy Baptism. For the heavens must open and rejoice, when His chosen ones are baptized. Lord Jesus, may we always strive to have a pure heart and be clothed with the many gifts of the Holy Spirit. May we understand these gifts are to help us overcome the trials on the path to righteousness and holiness. In the end, may God too be well pleased with us.

…When God waited patiently in the days of Noah, while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water. And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also---not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Second Luminous Mystery
(John 2:1-11)
Our Lord Jesus, our God, how awesome it is to understand the full circle that occurs from your first miracle…For you turned water into wine and then at each Eucharistic Banquet today, water and wine become you.
Jesus, you were at a wedding so many years ago and created your first miracle… and so a first miracle can occur for each married couple who make you the center of their marriage. May the miracles from your love be manifested in every married couples relationship today and forever…And in turn, prepare them for your wedding “the wedding supper of the Lamb.”
…The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man.

Christ’s Proclamation of the Kingdom of God, His call to Conversion
(Matthew 3:17; Mark 1:14-15; Luke 4:14-22)
We ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, all the angels and saint and our brothers and sisters to pray for us to the Lord our God, because we are so weak and so humanly sinful.
We know Heavenly Father, there are times when you are not well pleased with us and we know we are not spiritually worthy of your love. But Lord, we praise you and thank you for the fulfillment of the words of the prophets, through Jesus Christ our sin bearer.
Lord, may we experience the wondrous freedom that your love gives us each time we are brought closer to your kingdom through our believe and our repentance.

Christ’s Transfiguration on Mount Tabor
(Matthew 17:1-8; Mark 9:2-8; Luke 9:28-36)
We can only image Lord, how awe-struck we would be if we too had witnessed your transfiguration. The radiant light would be like a transforming love, too powerful to keep us standing in your presence. The image is ineff-able --- it can not be spoken; it is so profound and mysterious---the fusion of Light with Love; the fusion of soul and body in Jesus’ transfiguration… “Listen to Him.”
…When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Fifth Luminous Mystery
Christ’s Institution of the Most Holy Eucharist
as the Sacramental Expression of the Paschal Mystery---
His Passion, Death and Resurrection
(Matthew 26:26-29; Mark 14:22-25; Luke 22:19-20;
John 6:22-58; 1 Corinthians 11:23-27)
Jesus, you say, you are the bread of life, the food that endures to eternal life. This new covenant that gives us all life… gives life to the world. This act of sacrificial love is repeated only because of the promise you gave your Apostles of yesterday and our priests today; the promise to transfigure them into your divine image… “Christ the Priest.” You chose them to share in your life of Holiness and truth, this priesthood of Christ; and you gave only them the power to re-present this divine mystery of sacrifice, nourishment, and real presence.
Therefore, the hour comes when we bow before this Eucharistic Sacrifice that has been offered to God by your Holy Priests. To receive with trembling hands, this wondrous Mystery of the Holy Eucharist, a gift freely given to us with grace and love.
