Welcome

Pro Sanctity has dressed itself up in a new formation format this year... and

we hope you enjoy using this 2003-2004 Formation Plan for Pro Sanctity Members and Friends.

We also hope you will share your comments on the format as well as on the contents.

In 2001-2002 we celebrated the theme of Holiness in Everyday Life.  During this time we stressed means by which we could communicate holiness and live a holy life in a busy world as we closely examined our steps on the journey to holiness.

In 2002-2003 we concentrated on the relationship of Holiness and Communion.  Our attention then was drawn to holiness as our love relationship with God, and communion as our love relationship with one another – both integral parts of the Pro Sanctity Movement.

We introduced the 2003-2004 theme of Holiness and Mission by featuring “Tools for the Mission” at the National Convention in July.  This prepared us to explore our roles individually and collectively as we approach the year to come.

As members and friends of the Pro Sanctity Movement, we know about the Good News and we also know we can’t keep it to ourselves.  For Pro Sanctity is about sharing a culture for holiness and so we, who have been called to be apostles of holiness, must have one mind, one heart and work in unity in the Body of Christ.

So we invite all members – general, committed, and praying members – along with all the good Friends of the Movement – to take part in this community formation opportunity.

How to Obtain the 2003-2004 Formation Plan

·        Sign up through the National Center and we will send you a sheet a month or (while copies last) a whole booklet.

·        Use, or copy, the plan that will be available at your local center.

·        Access the plan on the Pro Sanctity Website (prosanctity.org).  One sheet per month will be posted there.  You can post your responses there, too. The PSM Forums would be a good place for these.

How to Use the 2003-2004 Formation Plan

·        You can do it on your own.  Read, Reflect, Write and Apply...but...try not to do it alone.  Find someone to share your thoughts with you – a small group or a spiritual director.  You may prefer to share with a buddy by e-mail or share with your local center through formation meetings or e-mail.

·        Form a small group in your home with other members, or as a Core Group or Board.

·        Questions and reflections are a part of each month’s presentation.  Share the reflections and answers with each other.  Send them back to the National Office and we will respond.

·        Please add and share your own reflections and questions on each issue – with your group and with the National Office.

·        The important thing is to Read, Reflect, and Apply!  Writing it down is helpful, sharing with others is even more helpful, and doing both is the best way to get the maximum benefit from the Formation Plan.

·        Questions are important, too!  The National Board is HAPPY to respond to your reflections and questions.
